Don and his wife Laura have two dogs, five cats and donate time and portions of real estate commissions to local animal shelters including the Animal Trustees of Austin www.AnimalTrustees.org. All of their pets were stray animals or were adopted from a rescue group (See Don & Duke link). Don was a member of the Education Committee with Austin Board of REALTORS, the Central Texas TKE alumni, Keys to Wealth Club, Austin Real Estate Investors Network Club, and Young Executives of Austin. Laura is an alumna of the University of Texas Kappa Deltas, UT Baseball's Disch-Faulk Diamonds and a member of the Heritage Society.

I interviewed numerous "real estate professionals" who were so-called experts on multi-family properties located in my area of town. Their view of the Austin real estate market was distressing.
